The Economic Alliance’s Infrastructure Committee will be holding an Okanogan County Economic/Community Development Prioritization Workshop on July 26th, 2018 at the Omak City Hall from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. This is open to Municipalities, Community Based Organizations, or other groups working on Community and Economic Development projects.
The purpose of this workshop is to educate organizations and communities on the Okanogan County Prioritization Process, including the criteria and how the projects will be ranked and answer any other questions regarding the application process.
Applications will be available after the workshop on the Economic Alliance website www.economic-alliance.com or you can contact our office at 509-826-5107. Applications will be due no later than August 30, 2018 by 5:00 pm.
The Economic Alliance has been charged with the responsibility to coordinate the workshop, application and review process and to provide the Okanogan County Commissioners with a single prioritized list of Economic and Community Development projects. The Commissioners will then approve the list as the official Okanogan County Economic Development Top ranked projects for our county and the list will be forwarded on to the NCW Economic Development District to be prioritized at the regional level.
